Villa Park is seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our Women's Football team. As a key member of the medical team, you will be responsible for delivering individualized player development and injury reduction strategies.

Salary: £40,000 per annum, depending on experience

\

About the Role

\

The successful candidate will have extensive experience working within professional team sports, providing Physiotherapy services to high-performance elite athletes.

\

You will need to plan, deliver treatment, and provide rehabilitation of sports injuries while having a comprehensive understanding of maturation, long-term athletic development, and performance demands of a professional female athlete.

\

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualized player development and injury reduction strategies\
  • Manage injury risk and enhance individual team performance\
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of effective athlete monitoring strategies\
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to improve and extend evidence-based medical provision and rehabilitation practices\

Requirements

\

We are looking for a proactive, calm, and positive individual with excellent communication skills who can work flexibility, including evenings, weekends, and matchdays as required.

\

The ideal candidate will hold a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy, HCPC registration, Chartered Society of Physiotherapy membership, and appropriate medical indemnity to treat/advise players.
