About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Tops Day Nurseries. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day care, including feeding, changing diapers, and helping children with toilet training.
- Develop and lead fun, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development, focusing on key areas like social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills.
- Observe children's development and identify any areas of concern, helping them develop their motor skills, language, and social interactions through play and structured learning.
- Ensure that children are safe and emotionally supported, creating an atmosphere that encourages children to explore and learn independently.
- Keep records of each child's progress, including documenting milestones, behaviors, and developmental needs, as part of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Maintain regular communication with parents or guardians about their child's progress, needs, and any concerns that arise.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Level 3 Early Years Qualification is required.
- Have a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures.
