Administrative Support Officer

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Officer to join our client HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) as a Temporary Administrative Assistant.
This is a full-time role working via Brook Street for HMCTS, with a view to extending the contract further. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the admin team by processing Civil / County work and data input, case creation, orders, and potentially court clerking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the admin team with data entry, case creation, and order processing.
- Liaise with parties within the court to process court orders.
- Perform a mixture of processing work and court clerking duties.
- Scan documents and transfer files.
- Liaise with members of the judiciary.
- Upload documents onto electronic systems/databases.
- Contact relevant parties, schedule appointments, serve court documents, and execute warrants.
Requirements:
- Good Excel skills.
- Good organisational skills.
- Ability to communicate efficiently via telephone, email, and to a remote workforce.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
Working Arrangements:
This is a temporary role working in the office, with no remote working options.
Salary and Benefits:
The successful candidate will receive a salary of £12.09 per hour, with benefits including a pension scheme and holiday entitlement.
