Renewable Energy Project Coordinator

Location: London Office - Hybrid working system

Piper Maddox is exclusively working with one of the top global renewable energy companies on the growth of their UK team. Our client specializes in Solar and Battery storage projects on a utility scale and has been a constant presence in the global renewable energy market for over 20 years.

They work in an IPP model - taking projects from initial inception, through the development phase, constructing the projects, and finally owning and operating their renewable energy assets. Working with this company gives you exposure to the full project lifecycle and complete involvement in the net-zero transition.

Their UK team consists of just under 40 members across land acquisition, planning consents, project management, grid connection, project design, and construction. They are looking to add to their existing planning team in the UK to assist their Lead Planner on the pre-consent side of things. They currently have 10 TCPA projects ongoing as well as other NSIPs.

Your role as a Renewable Energy Project Coordinator would include:

  • Review and management of planning applications both within the TCPA and NSIP system.
  • Working with external planning consultants to ensure that the planning application runs smoothly.
  • Playing a key role in stakeholder management and the public consultation process to ensure planning viability.
  • Liaising with land and grid experts throughout the development process to ensure site feasibility and ongoing project success.
