Job Title: Contracts Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contracts Manager to join our team at Black Fox Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of projects, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation and risk management.
  • Collaborate with site teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Contribute to the preparation of tender documents, including pre-contract planning and method statements.
  • Procure materials and plant for projects, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Complete post-job reviews to identify areas for improvement.
  • Attend and chair operations meetings to ensure effective project management.
Requirements:
  • Previous civil engineering site experience, with a strong understanding of project management principles.
  • Degree or equivalent in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite programs, including Word, Excel, and MS Project.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct site teams.
  • Program management experience, with a strong understanding of commercial awareness and contractual requirements.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Full UK driving license, with a clean driving record.
