We are seeking a skilled Technical Estimator to join our team at Resourcing Group. As a key member of our Operations Team, you will be responsible for interpreting customer needs and providing accurate project solutions using company software and design tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate project quotations and technical submissions to maximize conversion to order.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication within the Operations Team.
  • Manage and update project folders, ensuring all key information is obtained to offer the best suitable solution to clients.
  • Confidently discuss technical information with customers, ensuring designs produced are compliant with current legislation and industry best practice.
  • Support customers and colleagues in the timely resolution of technical enquiries.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to colleagues and customers alike.

Requirements:

  • Good working knowledge and experience in a similar technical role, ideally with a commercial market focus.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of engineering, contractual principles, and methods of working.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective planning, organization, and time management skills.
  • A mechanical, electrical, or building services engineering qualification, such as an HNC or equivalent.
  • A strong technical mechanical or electrical background.
