We are seeking an experienced Logistics Supervisor to join our team at 911 Staffing Ltd. As a Logistics Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating a team of staff within a busy logistics operation.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure all customer orders are processed efficiently on the Warehouse Management System.
- Analyse data to improve supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Utilise transportation management systems to optimise delivery schedules and routes.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, procedures, and company policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth flow of goods daily.
- Oversee and monitor the daily activities of the customer service operation.
- Responsible for coaching, training, and performance management across the team.
- Investigate and resolve customer service issues and complaints.
- Allocate stock and manage invoices.
- Identify opportunities to save costs across the department.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory role.
- Minimum of 1 year's experience in the logistics sector.
- Proficient IT user, including Microsoft Packages including Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to take responsibility and use own initiative.
- Be proactive and adaptable.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong people skills.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
