The Job

As a Field Engineer (Electrical), you will be responsible for activities in the field related to Construction Surveillance. Your primary role will involve delivering NEC Supervisor duties described in the NEC contract and ensuring Quality needs are realised.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Evaluate and verify that works meet contractual requirements and inform the Construction Superintendent of any discrepancies.
  2. Prepare and submit non-conformance request details to facilitate the issuance of non-conformance reports.
  3. Foster strong communication with other site teams and ensure timely surveillance reporting.
  4. Provide valuable input to support Key Performance Indicator (KPI) monitoring.
  5. Predictively identify potential Quality issues to enable proactive mitigating actions.
  6. Maintain open lines of communication and ensure that Quality standards are consistently met.
  7. Support the team by implementing temporary measures to mitigate risks and preserve quality.
  8. Raise awareness among team members about current and future site activities.
  9. Review and ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Eligibility

A minimum of HND in Electrical/Civil/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent vocational training and experience is required. Relevant experience in Post Tensioning and grout injection is highly beneficial.
