Independent Advisor to the Audit and Risk Committee

The Royal College of Midwives (RCM) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join its Audit and Risk Committee as an independent advisor. As a key member of this committee, you will play a vital role in supporting the RCM's governance and risk management processes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert financial and risk management advice to the Audit and Risk Committee
- Support the committee in its review of the RCM's financial statements and risk management processes
- Contribute to the development of the RCM's risk management strategy and policies
- Collaborate with the RCM's management and auditors to ensure effective risk management and governance
- Proven expertise in financial management and risk assessment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a committee setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
