IT Audit Senior Manager

Audit & Risk Recruitment is seeking an experienced IT Audit Senior Manager to join the leadership team of Group Internal Audit at a FTSE 100 Telecommunications and Media company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of the internal audit plan for your business and risk area(s), working with senior stakeholders and other assurance teams to deliver co-ordinated assurance that provides appropriate coverage of risks.
- Represent GIA at relevant governance forums and provide quarterly updates on GIA activity in the relevant Unit Audit and Risk Committee.
- Lead teams of auditors, with third party expertise as needed, to deliver a portfolio of internal audits across the Group.
- Own key relationships with senior business stakeholders up to ExCo level, holding strategic conversations to support them in identifying assurance requirements.
- Manage and develop 5/6 IT Audit Managers.
Requirements:
- Experience of IT auditing in a complex, regulated business going through a significant transformation.
- Experience of developing plans and delivering audits of data governance and data management related controls, including core areas of data architecture, metadata, data analytics, and AI.
- Good knowledge of industry standard technology control frameworks and benchmarks (e.g. ISF SoGP, CIS Benchmarks, NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF), Data Management Capability Assessment Model (DCAM)).
- Experience of working with second line of defence assurance teams to align plans.
- Professional qualifications include CISA certification or other relevant qualification.
- Experience of leading audit work in four or more of the following areas:
- Cloud computing
- Technology infrastructure (Linux/Unix, Windows)
- Fixed and mobile networking
- Database security
- Application security
- DevSecOps and Agile development
- Information Security
- Operational Resilience
- Third Party Management
- Transformation
- GDPR
