About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity to lead and develop our site maintenance function, establishing policies and procedures to ensure best practice. You will take responsibility for planned service maintenance schedules, prepare the annual maintenance budget and forecasts, and mentor and lead the department.

Responsibilities

  1. Direct line management, coaching, and training of the Manufacturing Engineering & Maintenance team.
  2. Accountability for project management of all aspects of M.E projects to support site development and launch.
  3. Plan the workload for specific major projects across production shutdown periods.
  4. Lead cross-functional on-time, on-cost product launches.
  5. Preparation of RFQs, contract review, and risk management.
  6. Support continuous improvement activities.
  7. Liaise with outside contractors if required.
  8. Check that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed to a satisfactory standard and follow up on any deficiencies.
  9. Successful coordination of running changes.
  10. Manage plant interface in support of program targets and common faults and drive corrective actions based on impact in terms of frequency and total time stoppages.

Requirements

  1. Time-served multi-skilled Engineer, preferably certified to HND/degree level.
  2. Experience as a Maintenance Manager or Supervisor.
  3. Experience managing, training, and coaching others.
