Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team in Scunthorpe. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of 10 engineers, ensuring the smooth operation of mechanical systems, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engineering Management - Lead a team of 10 engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful operation of mechanical systems.
  • Technical Expertise - Collaborate with colleagues to identify areas for process improvement, implementing new procedures to enhance productivity.
  • Maintenance and Repair - Conduct on-site inspections, addressing any technical issues that may arise, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record as a successful Engineering Manager, with experience in managing teams and driving business growth.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • A deep understanding of mechanical systems, with experience in maintenance and repair.
