About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Gardener to join our team at Hinton Ampner, a significant 21st-century garden in the National Trust. As a key member of the garden team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of horticulture and ensuring the garden is safe for visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily checks to ensure the garden is safe and secure
- Perform routine tasks such as weeding, pruning, and mulching
- Operate machinery such as hedge cutters, leaf blowers, lawnmowers, and tractors
- Assist with propagation, cutting flowers for the house, and tree safety work
- Contribute to garden design and restoration projects
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a motivated and experienced horticulturist who is passionate about gardening and has a great eye for detail. You should be knowledgeable about plants, experienced with machinery, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
