We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Director of Science to join our team at Ark Boulton Academy. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving academic excellence and raising attainment in Science at Key Stage 4.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement an engaging and challenging Science curriculum that inspires students to appreciate the subject.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality teaching practices that ensure students achieve results in line with or better than key stage and other value-added predictions.
  • Lead and manage a team of Science teachers to achieve exceptional results and improve standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives that promote academic excellence and student achievement.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of academic excellence and leadership in a Science teaching role.
  • Strong knowledge of Science curriculum and pedagogy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
