The Met Office is a world-leading center for weather forecasting and climate science. As a Weather Radar Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our weather forecasts. This placement offers a unique chance to work on high-profile projects and contribute to the development of new technologies that will benefit society as a whole.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing modifications to our existing radar equipment. You will also collaborate with our Radar Hardware Team to develop new components and improve the overall performance of our weather radar network.

We are looking for a highly motivated and talented individual with a strong foundation in engineering principles and excellent problem-solving skills. If you are passionate about innovation, teamwork, and making a difference, we would love to hear from you.

The estimated salary for this position is £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. In addition to your salary, you will also receive access to our comprehensive benefits package, including annual leave starting at 27.5 days, and discounts on shopping and lifestyle brands.
