About the Role

British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS) is a leading UK-based women's reproductive healthcare charity working in collaboration with the NHS. We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our finance team, responsible for providing detailed analysis of income and costs.

This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse financial projects, contribute to BPAS' long-term planning, and enhance your skills in financial modelling and analysis. As a Financial Analyst, you will be part of our dynamic finance team and collaborate closely with other departments to drive business performance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide insightful commentary on variances and trends, collaborating with Operational managers, Support managers, and the finance team.
  • Analyse monthly activity and income by contract, service, and location to understand price and volume variances.
  • Manage the tracking of business cases from authorisation to implementation of projects.
  • Liaise with business case managers to ensure good financial control of project budgets.

Requirements:

  • Apart from being a part-qualified or fully qualified accountant, preferably with CIMA, you should have experience working within finance departments and with non-finance staff.
  • Experience of working with different finance and data systems, including Power BI, is desirable.

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate can expect a salary ranging from £43,768 to £47,775 per annum, depending on skills and experience. You will also enjoy access to a comprehensive benefits package, including 34 days annual leave, special health and wellbeing services, and lifestyle offers through BHSF.
