About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Reinsurance Underwriter to join our team at Allied World. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for pricing and modeling accounts using our in-house tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pricing and modeling accounts using in-house tools
  • Actively managing a portfolio, including audits, claims, trends, and market issues
  • Liaising with the claims department on specific claims activity
  • Performing other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Significant broker and client relationships in Europe Marine
  • Contract wording expertise and understanding of actuarial pricing techniques
  • Proficient computer skills, especially in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication and writing skills
