About the Role

As a Respiratory Care Specialist, you will be working with a friendly and quality-driven team within the multi-disciplinary healthcare setting. The role involves providing excellent care to patients with long-term respiratory conditions, requiring a car driver with access to a car for carrying out duties.

The post holder will work closely with the existing clinical team who deliver community pulmonary rehabilitation programme, COPD supported discharge, and home oxygen provision for patients in the Swindon area. This includes assessing patients' suitability for Long term Oxygen Therapy (LTOT) and interpreting results to consider available prescription options.

The ideal candidate will have a degree-level qualification and experience of working with a multi-disciplinary team, setting and monitoring standards of care, and working with patients with long-term respiratory conditions. They should also be able to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and possess wide-ranging interpersonal and communication skills.
