About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered Learning Disability Nurse to join our team at HMP Birmingham. As a key member of our 24-hour healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals with mental health and learning disability needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for individuals with mental health and learning disability needs.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and support.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with prisoners, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the training and development of colleagues to ensure high-quality care and service delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with local and national policies and legislation governing current service provision.

  • Registered RMN/RNLD qualification.
