Hotel Maintenance Manager

At Hunton Park Hotel

Oversees all engineering and maintenance operations, ensuring the hotel's physical plant is well-maintained and safe for guests and staff. Responsible for managing the budget, capital expenditures, and preventative maintenance to minimize energy consumption and optimize asset protection. Ensures regulatory compliance and leads the emergency response team for facility issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of work orders and projects.
  • Develop and implement a long-term plan for preventative maintenance and asset protection.
  • Coordinate with contractors for bids and supervise construction projects to ensure timely completion within budget.
  • Ensure fire safety systems are functioning properly and conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with external customers, such as city building and zoning departments, and vendors.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in engineering and maintenance or a related field.
  • Technical training in HVAC-R, electrical, and plumbing.
  • 2-year degree in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or a related major.
