Project & Technical Engineer

Citrus Recruit is seeking an experienced Project & Technical Engineer to join a leading business in their field, specializing in process plant equipment design, manufacture, and installation for various sectors.

The ideal candidate will oversee orders from customers, ranging from supply-only to turnkey contracts, involving design, manufacture, installation, and commissioning. They will also conduct site visits to gather information, specifications, and measurements for projects, producing Method Statements and risk assessments for repair/installation activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project work areas on-site efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with the sales department to ensure estimates of works are realized cost-effectively without compromising quality or safety.
  • Implement policies and procedures for effective contract management.
  • Review efficiency of site and manufacturing operations to ensure Quality, Cost, and Delivery schedules are met.
  • Assist the sales team in preparing estimates, project specifications, and requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in project and technical management.
  • Experience in monitoring and controlling costs throughout contracts in real-time.
  • 3 years experience in Project / Technical Engineer or equivalent from an engineering fabrication industry.
  • Mechanical understanding and solid manufacturing industry knowledge.
