About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Room Leader to join our team at Bright Horizons Morton Mains Nursery. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team to deliver exceptional care and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage a team to provide high-quality care and education to children
  2. Develop and implement engaging learning activities and environments that promote child development and well-being
  3. Build strong relationships with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children
  4. Ensure the nursery environment is safe, healthy, and stimulating for children
  5. Contribute to the development and implementation of nursery policies and procedures
Requirements
  1. Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  2. Previous experience working in an Early Years setting, ideally as a Room Leader or similar
  3. Sound understanding of the Scottish Curriculum and Safeguarding requirements
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
