About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Room Leader to join our team at Bright Horizons Morton Mains Nursery. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care and education to our children, while also mentoring and inspiring your colleagues to achieve their best.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Early Years professionals to provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.
  • Develop and implement engaging learning programs that meet the individual needs of each child, while ensuring a safe and stimulating environment.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers, as well as other professionals, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations, including Safeguarding and Child Protection.
  • Contribute to the development of our nursery's policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with our HEART values.
Requirements
  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working in an Early Years setting, ideally as a Room Leader or similar.
  • Sound understanding of the Scottish Curriculum and Safeguarding requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with colleagues and parents.
