Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Engineer to join our client's team at their Torness site. As a Procurement Engineer, you will be responsible for specifying and evaluating nuclear power station spares against original design and maintaining the Spares catalogue.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop procurement specifications in conjunction with Technical Specialists and Purchasers
- Carry out Quality Assurance reviews prior to purchase of QA1/2 Spares, including development/reviewing of Quality plans
- Conduct Quality Control inspections on key goods being supplied
- Advise the Purchasing and Warehouse teams to support smooth operation of the Supply Chain Materials processes
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong working knowledge of technical and quality assurance arrangements standards applicable to the procurement of spare parts. If you have a HNC level in an engineering discipline and experience within a Procurement role, we encourage you to apply.
