As a Body Engineer with Austin Fraser, you will play a key role in shaping the future of mobility at Toyota Manufacturing. The company is currently seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join their dynamic team in the Body Division.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a minimum of a 2:1 Engineering degree in a related discipline (Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Systems) and will be responsible for supporting production operations and leading initiatives in the department.

Key responsibilities include planning and overseeing contractor work, collaborating with production teams to investigate and resolve issues related to safety, quality, or cost, partnering with local and international suppliers to enhance quality and address production challenges, and driving energy and CO2 reduction initiatives to support the company's carbon neutrality goals.

You will also contribute to future vehicle projects, including motorsport and new mobility solutions.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong analytical mindset, and experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be expected to work closely with a supportive team of engineers and managers who will help you achieve your objectives and grow professionally.

A salary of £55,000-£65,000 per annum is on offer, commensurate with experience. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on cutting-edge manufacturing processes and contribute to the company's success.
