Job Title: Senior Insurance Data Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Insurance Data Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Insurance Data Analyst, you will play a key role in driving business value from data and ensuring that our stakeholders have access to the insights they need to make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with stakeholders to define and document business requirements.
  • Deliver high-quality data insights to business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Data team to share capabilities and tools with stakeholders.
  • Manage a team of non-permanent members.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive change.
  • Document requirements, business outcomes, data flows, and data using identified tools and techniques.
  • Ensure business value of requirements is understood by the squad.
  • Stay up-to-date with technology stack, data architecture, and data culture principles.
  • Embed Service Excellence principles in data contracts.
  • Become an expert in specific datasets within our domain.
  • Ensure engagement of Data team functions to deliver business outcomes and strategic goals.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a Data Analyst role within Insurance.
  • Data transformation experience.
  • Passion for using data and technology to drive decision-making.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders from across business functions.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple requirements and prioritize based on value delivered and resources required.
  • Experience in capturing/defining/specifying data mapping and transformation rules.
  • Ability to work in a scaled agile environment.
  • Good knowledge of SQL and data management techniques.
