HMP Bullingdon is a busy remand prison with a high turnover of inmates, making for a fast-paced and challenging environment. As a Healthcare Administrator, you will have some interaction with prisoners, providing a lot of variety in your role.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the healthcare team on site, ensuring that patients receive the best quality care, and the healthcare team are fully supported. We offer free parking onsite, and have a bus stop outside.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dealing with patients, healthcare colleagues, and other professionals over the phone, face-to-face, and via email, delivering a high-level service at all times, including reviewing complaints.
  • Providing a high-quality admin service to the healthcare team.
  • Coordinating clinics and chasing referrals (internal and external).
  • Arranging and chasing hospital appointments, prisoner release, and transfers, and arranging appointments for follow-on care.
  • Working with SystmOne to upload and update patient information.
  • Assisting in the substance misuse admin team when needed.
