Role Overview
A challenging and rewarding opportunity has arisen for a skilled Advanced Practitioner to join our team at DHU Healthcare. As an integral part of our Clinical Assessment Service, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care.

The ideal candidate will be a registered Adult Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC), or a Paramedic registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC), or a pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). They will possess advanced clinical skills, enabling them to assess, diagnose, treat, and refer patients requiring our clinical service.

We offer a competitive salary of £53,770 - £60,721 (Band 8.a0) per annum, plus 30% evening enhancements and 45% weekend enhancements. You will also receive a generous annual leave entitlement of 25 days + 8 bank holidays, increasing with service up to 33 days + 8 bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To practice autonomously without direct supervision.
  • To utilise advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, treat, and refer patients requiring the clinical service.
  • To recognise the need for, refer for, and where appropriate interpret relevant diagnostic investigations.
  • To exhibit excellent communication skills when dealing with patients and carers.
