About the Role

As a Clinical Practitioner, you will be responsible for conducting autonomous clinical assessments, treatments, and referrals. You will provide advice to first-contact patients across a diverse range of clinical conditions through direct contact consultations.

You will excel in communication, both verbal and nonverbal, establishing rapport with patients and caregivers. Making confident decisions and communicating them effectively, ensuring clarity and understanding.

You will maintain appropriate clinical records in line with current practice guidelines and work effectively as part of a multi-professional team in collaboration with other members of the service.

Requirements
  • To be a Registered Adult Nurse registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC), a Paramedic registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) or a pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Evidence of autonomous practice - Autonomous practice A33
  • Level 6 or 7 clinical examination module
  • Level 6 or 7 minor illness module
  • Emergency care practitioner qualification
  • Motivation, passion, positivity, resilience, and a determination to provide outstanding patient care.
  • RCN accredited nurse practitioner module
  • Right to work in the UK
