We are currently seeking an Expert Child and Adolescent Mental Health Psychiatrist to join our team at the Alfred Barrow Health Centre in Barrow in Furness. This is a full-time (10 PA) position that offers a competitive salary of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
This role will involve working with children and young people with mental health issues, providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, and other support staff.
To be eligible for this position, you must have at least 3 years' experience in psychiatry and hold full registration with the GMC with a licence to practice. Our SAS Development Programme provides excellent opportunities for professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:- Assessment and management of patients with mental health issues
- Development and implementation of treatment plans
- Collaboration with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- MBBS or equivalent qualification
- Full GMC registration and Licence to Practise
- Section 12 approved
