Ringway, a leading provider of highway maintenance services, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Defect Contract Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, control, manage, and coordinate all operational and commercial activities in line with company policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensure a safe and environmentally friendly operation, service delivery, and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist clients with Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) and promote company policies relating to Ringway operations.
  • Liaise between senior management, client representatives, commercial teams, supervisors, and the workforce to ensure works are on budget and on schedule while meeting the highest quality standards.
  • Understand and promote highway inspections and defect repairs, ensuring compliant safe systems of work.
  • Identify and allocate specialist contractors and suppliers as needed.

Requirements:

  • Current Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certificate.
  • Driving Licence.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a construction/civil engineering management role.
  • Competence with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Project, TEAMS).
  • Flexible and approachable attitude.
  • IOSH/NEBOSH qualification.
