Wellbeing Practitioner for Children and Adolescents

Join our team of experienced professionals working towards improving the mental wellbeing of children and adolescents in Stockport. As a Wellbeing Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting schools and communities across the borough.

Your main duties will include providing mental health assessments, developing and implementing evidence-based interventions, and consulting with children, adolescents, and their families. You will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and support.

To be successful in this role, you will need a postgraduate qualification in CYP Psychological Wellbeing Practice or EMHP Postgraduate qualification, along with significant post-qualification experience in mental health services to postgraduate diploma level.

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits, including training and development opportunities.

Main responsibilities:

  • Delivering CBT/CBT-informed interventions in line with individual needs and goals.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and improve services.
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to the evaluation of service effectiveness.
