Job Title: English Language Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated English Language Educator to join our team at Novus - Foundations for Change. As a key member of our education team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education and training programs to our learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective lessons in English Language and Literacy, incorporating ICT skills and Functional Skills.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
  • Assess learner needs and develop individualized learning plans.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support learners in achieving their City & Guilds qualifications.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for all learners.
  • Stay up to date with curriculum changes and best practices in education.
Requirements:
  • A full teaching qualification and experience teaching English Language and Literacy courses required.
  • Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy.
  • Track record of effective teaching in subject specialism.
  • Gain/hold and maintain a clean, enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
