Food and Beverage Operations Manager

Join our team at Mossco Restaurant, where we offer a unique dining experience that combines great food with a fun and stylish atmosphere. As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and have an unforgettable experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the management team in efficiently controlling the departmental operation
- Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the F&B department in line with the departmental SOP manual
- Ensure all departmental staff are able to carry out their duties to the standards as laid down in the standard of performance manual
- Ensure the highest possible standard of personal hygiene, appearance, body language, and conduct of employees is maintained by all employees in the department
- Ensure all guests receive a genuine, warm, friendly, courteous welcome on arrival and during their stay from all departmental personnel
- Assist in achieving goals in relation to mystery audits and all customer feedback platforms
- Empower, encourage, and promote employees to make on-the-spot guest satisfaction decisions
- Ensure all guest queries are handled promptly and efficiently
- Ensure all guest requests are met regarding room allocation and specification
- Maximize revenue through up-selling and additional sales, efficient recording of sales
- Meet with all group organizers and follow up on any requests or concerns
- Ensure all staff make follow-up promptly on any guest request and ensure guest satisfaction
- Process all charges for groups and individuals efficiently
- Manage and control seating capacity without compromising standards
- Be aware of relevant competitor information and market changes to initiate changes to our services/rates as appropriate
- Ensure all staff are familiar with safekeeping, cash handling, credit policy of the hotel
- Constantly liaise with other departments to ensure all guest requests are attended to efficiently
- Ensure the F&B team are fully aware of any menu updates, specials, hotel promotions, corporate promotions, or special activities going on in the hotel/area
- Organize and assist with carrying out any reasonable guest and staff promotional events when required
- Ensure efficient assessment and introduction of products are done according to standards
- Comply with the RSA policy at all times
- Monitor operations to ensure consistent sequence of service is followed and all brand standards are properly executed
- Ensure the proper handling, maintenance, storage, and security of all department equipment
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained in all F&B areas
- Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of area of responsibility
