About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Care and Support Specialist to join our Extra Care team at the MioCare Group. As a Senior Care Worker, you will take a lead role in providing a range of personal, social, emotional, and practical care tasks for the wellbeing of those using our service.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives by maximising their independence and enabling them to exercise control over their care. You will work closely with Registered Managers, GP's, nurses, physiotherapists, and other professionals to deliver high-quality care that meets the individual needs of our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  1. To ensure all duties directed by the Registered Manager and detailed in the service user's plan and risk assessments are carried out in full, providing high-quality personal care to the service user.
  2. To work supportively and proactively alongside healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and wellbeing for the service user.
  3. To demonstrate a commitment to equality and diversity and respect for the rights of service users to privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
  4. To update and review care plans regularly and participate in the completion of risk assessments and care plans to ensure the needs of service users are met.

Salary: £25,500 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on location and experience).
