Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented individual to manage a small supply chain team, including procurement, planning, and customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain from sales order to complete production, ensuring sales orders are processed and effectively communicated to customers, an efficient production plan is created and followed, and purchase orders to suppliers are placed and delivered to meet plan and KPI's.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a small team on a day-to-day basis, complete regular 1-1s, bi-yearly appraisals, and training records.
  • Create and maintain departmental SOPs and training with necessary staff.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day purchase order processing while considering buying decisions.
  • Coordinate between procurement and planning the timings for materials and orders to ensure a smooth and efficient production schedule.
  • Provide excellent customer service with regular updates, including calls and meetings, to the customer and be the point of contact regarding their sales orders, dispatch dates, and discuss free issue componentry delivery dates.
  • Investigate purchasing invoice queries with all stakeholders and resolve in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and update minimum stock values and reduce inventory levels to optimise cash flow and warehouse space.
  • Review supplier and material statistics to forge a procurement strategy with HoSC.
  • Provide management with updates and reports to reflect and highlight areas of positivity and concern within supply chain.
  • Follow and implement GMP requirements for the supply chain area.
  • Purchasing of Indirect consumables.
  • Attend internal meetings as a representative of supply chain.
  • Responsible for onsite production morning meeting.
  • Understand the client portfolio to aid buying and planning decisions and best communication method with customer.
  • Excellent analytical abilities to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Minimum of 3 years Procurement/Supply Chain experience.
  • Desirable FMCG experience.
  • Desirable cosmetic raw material procurement experience.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in procurement/supply chain and possess excellent analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions. Desirable FMCG experience and cosmetic raw material procurement experience are also highly valued.
