Quality Assurance Specialist

At Senior Aerospace Weston, we are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support our business in areas of QMS compliance.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the QMS by leading the internal audit programme, hosting customer and regulatory audits, and ensuring the business remains compliant to industry standards.

This role reports directly to the Quality Manager and works closely with all business functions.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Maintenance of all documents, procedures, customer/regulatory standards and specifications that make up the QMS.
  • Planning and maintaining the internal audit programme to ensure adherence to the QMS.
  • Hosting external audits with regulatory bodies and customers.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Time-served or degree-educated in a relevant field or demonstrating relevant industrial experience.
  • Experience maintaining a QMS within an aerospace AS environment.
  • Demonstrated experience as an internal auditor.
  • Demonstrated experience performing structured Root Cause and Corrective Action activities.
  • IT literacy - Microsoft Office software.

The successful candidate will be confident and competent to host customer and regulatory auditors, have the ability to work on their own initiative, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

We aim to support our customers with a complete solution, including supply chain management and delivery of line-side kits where appropriate.
