Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

Senior Aerospace Weston is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services meets the highest standards.

Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and improving our Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This includes planning and conducting internal audits, hosting customer and regulatory audits, and coordinating the closure of associated non-conformances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and improve the QMS to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Plan and conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to the QMS.
  • Host customer and regulatory audits and coordinate the closure of associated non-conformances.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is integrated into all aspects of the business.
Requirements:
  • Time-served or degree-educated in a relevant field or demonstrating relevant industrial experience.
  • Experience maintaining a QMS within an aerospace AS environment would be advantageous, but not necessary.
  • Demonstrated experience as an internal auditor.
  • Demonstrated experience performing structured Root Cause and Corrective Action activities.
  • IT literate - Microsoft Office software.
Personal Competencies:
  • Confident and competent to host customer and regulatory auditors.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, with willingness to take ownership of tasks and projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized and diligent with good attention to detail.
