Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Aspire People Limited.

About the Role:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside the class teacher and other TAs to support pupils with everyday school life, including one-to-one and small group settings. Your role will be to provide individualized support and assistance to a specific student in Year 4, collaborating with the classroom teacher to plan and deliver tailored lessons and activities to meet the student's unique needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support and assistance to a specific student in Year 4.
  • Collaborate with the classroom teacher to plan and deliver tailored lessons and activities to meet the student's unique needs.
  • Support the student's academic, social, and emotional development, promoting their self-confidence and independence.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where the student can thrive.
  • Adapt teaching strategies and resources to accommodate the student's learning style and abilities.
  • Assist with the assessment of the student's progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about supporting individual students' learning journeys and has experience working with children in a 1:1 setting. You will be a source of support for pupils and will ensure they are motivated, happy, and engaged.
