About the Role

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled SEN teacher to join our team at our Wisbech site. As a specialist in providing tailored education for children and young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, personalized learning plans to pupils with diverse SEN/SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement engaging and challenging lesson plans that cater to the needs of students with additional requirements.
  • Establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working within SEN/SEMH settings, preferably with children aged 7-16.
  • Strong understanding of strategies to support pupils with additional needs.
  • Passion for inclusive education and making a lasting impact on vulnerable learners.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is £40,000 - £55,000, based on qualifications and experience.
