About the Role

As a Teaching and Learning Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) at our Lincoln Military Academy. This part-time, fixed-term position offers an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted support to students with SEND, utilizing evidence-based interventions and strategies.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students, promoting their well-being and confidence.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents/guardians and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in staff training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Essential Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications, including GCSEs or equivalents in Maths and English.
  • Experience working with students with SEND, preferably in a Post 16 setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
