About the Role

The University for the Creative Arts is seeking a highly experienced and visionary leader to join our executive team as Deputy Vice Chancellor. This is a key role that will play a central part in driving the university's strategic priorities and leading our Academic Schools, including the Institute of Creativity and Innovation (ICI).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of organisation-wide strategic projects to drive forward the university's cultural and organisational transformation.
  • Develop and implement new ways of working to enhance the student experience and staff engagement.
  • Work closely with the President & Vice-Chancellor to deliver the university's refreshed strategy and priorities.
  • Lead a series of strategic projects to drive forward the university's cultural and organisational transformation.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience of leading the implementation of organisation-wide strategic projects.
  • A successful track record of leading and inspiring staff with a wide range of interests and backgrounds to achieve common objectives.
  • An outstanding academic leadership track record and a good understanding of the creative industries.
  • The ability to instigate and lead successful transformation strategically, operationally and culturally.
