About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team, responsible for the day-to-day management of our sports facilities. You will lead a team of operational staff, handle customer complaints, and ensure the operational health and safety of students, staff and public.

You will also perform regular building, process and operation checks to ensure optimal customer satisfaction, maintain logs and records of incidents, and escalate information appropriately.

In addition, you will support in designing, coordinating and delivering the Just Play series, assist with logging and monitoring equipment issues, and provide extra support for FOH duties while delegating site tours and promoting sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of operational staff and manage day-to-day operations
  • Handle customer complaints and ensure operational health and safety
  • Perform regular building, process and operation checks to ensure optimal customer satisfaction
  • Maintain logs and records of incidents and escalate information appropriately
  • Support in designing, coordinating and delivering the Just Play series
Requirements
  • First aid at work certificate (or similar)
  • An working knowledge of sport and physical activity and session operations
  • Sports coaching certificate
  • Experience planning and delivering sports activities
  • Experience supervising/leading a team
  • Health & safety experience within a leisure facility
