Job Description:

As a Data Product Lead at First Central Services, you will be responsible for driving the development of high-quality data products that meet the needs of our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize product features, manage technical debt, and ensure product stability, resilience, security, scalability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You will combine rigour and discipline with a pragmatic approach to deliver the highest quality, cost-effective features within set timeframes.
  • You will support your product delivery team in breaking features into user stories and development tasks for effective execution.
  • You will work closely with your Agile Data Delivery Lead and Principle Data Engineers to support delivery across the release cycle.
  • You will construct meaningful release content for company-wide release notes highlighting changes to the product and useful information about the impact that changes will deliver.
  • You will effectively own and manage product(s) risks, controls, and mitigations in line with InfoSec, Governance, Data Protection, and compliance-related standards, frameworks, and processes.

Requirements:
  • You will have considerable experience in data delivery and working with delivery teams in a product-aligned model.
  • You will have strengths in combining rigour and discipline with a pragmatic approach to deliver the highest quality, cost-effective features within set timeframes.
  • You will be great at building strong, effective relationships with people from different disciplines.
  • You will have a good understanding of regulatory requirements specific to the Company and the functions under control.
  • You will have decisive decision-making and proactive problem-solving using analytical thinking and emotional intelligence.
  • You will adopt a flexible approach to work and embrace, embed, and incorporate the Company values.
