About the Role

Skanska, a leading project development and construction group, is seeking a skilled Estates Officer to join their team at Mansfield Hospital. As a key member of the Building Services team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of electrical, mechanical, and related systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a reliable and responsive Estates care service, ensuring the smooth operation of hospital infrastructure.
  • Act as Lead Authorised Person for Fire and Medical Gas systems, ensuring compliance with statutory and good engineering practices.
  • Undertake package management and AP duties as identified in the Responsibility Matrix, adapting to changing business needs.
  • Develop and implement schemes of reactive and preventative planned maintenance, aligning with financial limits and Trust standing financial instructions.

Requirements

  • Medical Gas Authorised Person Qualification
  • 18th Edition IEE Regs qualification
  • Experience in hospitals, particularly with high voltage and low voltage systems, with acute hospital experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Health Technical Memorandum (HTM's) and Health Building Notes (HBN's)
