Senior Quantity Surveyor - Highways & Civil Works

We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially astute Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in West Malling, working on a range of exciting and challenging projects involving highway improvements and asset management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the delivery of highway improvement projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide commercial and technical expertise to support the development of project proposals, tenders, and contracts.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in the highways and civil engineering sector.
  • Strong commercial and technical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Proficient in the use of relevant software and systems, including project management tools and financial systems.
