We're looking for a talented Public Health Design Engineer to join our team, who will play a crucial role in designing public health systems that meet business, statutory legal, and contractual requirements for Government programs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for technical assurance management, ensuring that the design principles are maintained by the contractor throughout the design and construction process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing deliverables through themselves and direct reports.
  • Providing design and managing the developing design as per contract requirements.
  • Collaborating with the wider design disciplines, client personnel, and construction teams.
  • Assisting with the production of reporting information.
  • Attending/participating in client meetings and design workshops as necessary.

We're looking for someone with a good knowledge of statutory regulations and standards, effective technical competence, and the ability to work collaboratively towards common goals. Key Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of statutory regulations and standards.
  • Effective technical competence and capability in MEP systems.
  • Relevant industry qualification.
  • Collaborative mindset to work closely with architects, engineers, and sustainability consultants.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results within deadlines.
