About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Information and Intelligence Analyst to join our team at the Department for Business and Trade. As a key member of our Regulatory Information and Intelligence Team, you will play a crucial role in collecting, collating, and analysing information and intelligence to support our regulatory decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyse data from various sources to inform regulatory risk-based decisions.
  • Produce high-quality information and intelligence reports to support our regulatory activities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure effective information sharing and dissemination.
  • Develop and maintain databases and data visualisation tools to support data analysis and reporting.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on data analysis and intelligence to support regulatory decision-making.

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience in data analysis and intelligence gathering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Good working knowledge of data visualisation tools and databases.
