About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team at beBee Professionals in Buckley, United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement menu plans and food preparation strategies.
  • Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations during service.
  • Ensure all dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation, and are delivered on time.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in training and developing junior staff members.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
  • Take charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef, ensuring continuity and quality.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role, with a strong track record of success.
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene practices.
  • Creativity and passion for cooking with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or higher preferred).
