The Role

We are seeking a Network Engineering Apprentice to join our team. This 2-year programme will provide you with the necessary skills, knowledge, and behaviours to become an expert in network planning, installation, and maintenance. Throughout the programme, you will learn how to:

  • Install, configure, and test network components
  • Acquire and analyse network performance data to monitor network activity
  • Optimise and maintain the performance of network systems
  • Investigate and problem-solve network issues
  • Undertake upgrades to a network infrastructure
  • Manage risks and health and safety
  • Ensure all network engineering activity complies with policies and standards
About You

We are looking for a passionate and interested individual in Network Engineering. Desirable qualifications include an A-Level in ICT, an International Baccalaureate at Level 3 ICT, an A-Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject, or a BTEC Extended Diploma in IT. You should have excellent communication skills, be familiar with Microsoft Office, and have good critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Experience in face-to-face working in an office-based environment is desirable.
